Heavy favorite from Cali missed the Top 7 while the finalists from Bogota, Cartagena, Narino, Valle, Casanare and Amazonas advanced.
Most of those who were shocked with the exclusion of heavy favorites went on to cheer for Manuela Sanchez from Bogota, who won as first runner-up or Miss Mundo Colombia - Virreina. Valle representative Laura Juliana Mora won second runner-up.
Miss Globe Colombia 2014 is now Miss Sucre.
